iPhone users will no longer have to dodge autocorrect to clarify their feelings, thanks to an Apple update.

The tech giant has announced its new operating system, iOS 17, featuring an upgrade that will be raging with four-letter texting everywhere.

Using artificial intelligence, iPhone will predict the words the user repeats, including swear words. The old autocorrect feature could end up changing the meaning of messages by cleaning up their language, including using "duck" and "ducking" to replace a common swear word.

Craig Federighi, Apple's chief software officer, said at the company's annual Worldwide Developers Conference, "When you just want to type a dodge word...well, the keyboard will learn it too."

Users have always had the option to turn off the autocorrect feature, allowing them to be as rude as they want.

Apple also unveiled a mixed reality headset and new desktop and laptop computers. Shares of the tech giant, which started life in a California garage in 1976, hit a record high in the US stock market this week.

It raised its valuation to US$3 trillion; it is the first company to take this step.

Its 280% gain over the past five years has demonstrated the power of iPhone's market share.
