Attempt to murder case: YouTuber surrenders before police in Keralam’s Kasaragod

YouTuber Khader Karippodi is an accused in a case involving the alleged attempt to murder Abdul Ahad, a native of Uduma and an expatriate

YouTuber Khader Karippodi surrendered before the Kasaragod Town police on Thursday (October 29, 2026) after the Supreme Court dismissed his anticipatory bail plea in a case involving the alleged attempt to murder Abdul Ahad, a native of Uduma and an expatriate.

He appeared before the police around 11:30 a.m., reportedly after exhausting his legal options to avoid arrest.

According to the case registered by the Kasaragod Town police, Abdul Ahad was allegedly lured to a spot at Nullippady in Kasargod, where Khader and his associates attacked him with deadly weapons in an attempt to kill him. Two others — Rashid and Ashraf — have also been named as accused in the case.

The police suspect that financial dispute was the motive behind the attack. Abdul Ahad had suffered serious injuries in the incident.

Khader had approached the Kerala High Court for anticipatory bail but failed to obtain relief. He then moved the Supreme Court, which also dismissed his plea.

Despite being wanted by the police in the attempt-to-murder case, Khader remained active on social media, according to the police.
