One Bar of Soap, 60 Seconds, ₦2m: Givanas Industry Unveils Miss Ivory Season 4

Givanas Industry has unveiled Miss Ivory Season 4, an online beauty contest with rewards of up to ₦2 million for participants who enter via social media.

Ivory Beauty Soap is bringing back its Miss Ivory beauty contest for a fourth season, with rewards of up to ₦2 million and the entire competition held online.

There is no venue to travel to and no audition queue. Contestants are asked to film a “Get Ready With Ivory” video of about a minute. It begins with their natural, makeup-free look, moves through their Ivory routine, and ends with a runway walk toward the camera, a bar of Ivory Soap in hand.

Entrants post the video on social media, tag the brand’s official page, and follow Ivory on at least two of its social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.). Audience engagement with each entry then earns points on a live leaderboard, so the more people rally behind a contestant, the higher she climbs.

Givanas Industry Nigeria Limited, the company behind Ivory Beauty Soap, announced the maiden edition in June 2021. It was held virtually on the brand’s Instagram page from June 14 to July 12, and prizes included a modelling photoshoot. It was open to every interested woman: students, working-class women, corps members, married and single alike.

Abiola Ewuola, Digital Marketing Manager at Givanas Industry Nigeria Limited, said: “Miss Ivory has always been about celebrating the natural beauty of Nigerian women. Season 4 takes that further. You don’t need a hall or a stage, just your phone and your confidence.”

Miss Ivory Season 4 participation details will be available on the brand’s official social media pages, @ivorysoapng.

Ivory Beauty Soap is a brand of Givanas Industry Nigeria Limited, which described it at the 2021 launch as one of Nigeria’s best-selling complexion care soaps.
