NAIROBI, Kenya Nov 1 – Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna is expected to lead the next phase of Linda Mwananchi’s grassroots mobilisation campaign, with the movement shifting focus to smaller towns, wards and villages.

Linda Mwananchi Head of Communications Pauline Njoroge says the decision follows successful tours of major towns across the country, which she claims attracted significant organic public support.

Njoroge says the movement now intends to deepen its engagement with communities beyond urban centres by taking its message to the grassroots.

“Now with our party in place, we will keep this phase of the campaign exciting and full of energy! See you in the major towns, in your wards and in your villages. Tutawalinda kila mahali mlipo!”

She says Sifuna will spearhead the outreach, with the objective of ensuring the movement establishes a presence in every part of the country.

Linda Mwananchi added that the movement would continue holding engagements in major towns while extending its activities to local wards and villages.

“politics is about connecting with people where they are. It is now time to go deeper, with Edwin Sifuna raising the Kenyan flag in every small town and taking our message to every village. Just as a young person in Nakuru recognises Linda, so should an elderly man in Komora village in Turkana,” she stated.
