DMK president and former Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Monday (November 2, 2026) said people should brace for difficult times as “Tamil Nadu was doomed” under the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) government.
In a social media post, he said the State’s growth rate in Goods and Services Tax (GST) revenue had fallen below the national average under the TVK government. He also alleged that Korean investments worth ₹1,614 crore had been lost and gone to Andhra Pradesh because of the State government’s indifference.
“Guidance Tamil Nadu, which attracted investments, has been sacrificed because of the ego of individuals. One should learn from this government how to shift to reverse gear. But, the Chief Minister, who could not understand any of this, has gone to campaign in the byelections,” he said.
