The State government on Monday appointed a three-member Specified Authority to exercise the powers and functions of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Board of Trustees following the cessation of the tenure of the Trust Board headed by B.R. Naidu.

Through G.O. Ms. No. 658, the government appointed TTD Executive Officer Muddada Ravichandra as chairman of the Authority, with Secretary (Finance) V. Vinay Chand and Secretary (Endowments) K. Kannababu as members.

The move follows the completion of the tenure of the Trust Board constituted on October 1, 2024, for a period of two years.

The Specified Authority will discharge all responsibilities and exercise the powers vested in the TTD Board of Trustees until a new board is constituted. Its tenure will be one year or until the appointment of a new Trust Board, whichever is earlier. The order will come into force with immediate effect.
