Accra Brewery PLC (ABL) has officially launched Wild Root, its newest locally developed Ready-to-Drink (RTD) beverage, created to honour the heritage, resilience, and quiet strength of the men who keep showing up every day for progress.

Unveiled before distributors, retailers, media, influencers, and invited guests, Wild Root enters Ghana's growing herbal RTD category with a distinctive blend of nature-identical African herbal and fruit flavours, including Oakwood, Bitter Orange, and Gentian, carefully selected to deliver the right bitter-sweet balance.

More than a beverage, Wild Root is built on a powerful cultural insight: while society often celebrates loud success, many achievements are earned through consistency, sacrifice, and determination that frequently go unnoticed.

Speaking at the launch, Jerry John Quaye, Brand Manager for Wild Root, highlighted the significance of the occasion.

"For decades, Accra Brewery has built and nurtured brands that have become part of Ghanaian culture. Today, we are proud to continue that legacy with Wild Root, a locally developed brand crafted for the celebration of the journey, the hustle, and the values that remind us that success is earned, not given."

According to Vanessa Kavi, Country Marketing Lead, Wild Root reflects ABL's commitment to creating brands that resonate with local consumers.

"Wild Root is more than a product. It is the result of months of collaboration across teams and partners to create a brand that genuinely reflects the lives, values, and aspirations of Ghanaian consumers. We are excited to introduce a brand that celebrates authentic progress and everyday achievement."

ABL also used the launch to reinforce the importance of responsible consumption.

"Wild Root was inspired by the everyday consumer whose progress is built on consistency, discipline, and hard work. As we celebrate those achievements, we also encourage consumers to enjoy the brand responsibly. Meaningful moments are best celebrated through smart drinking choices that allow consumers to enjoy the occasion while looking after themselves and those around them," said Philip Buafor – Legal and Compliance Counsel.

The launch’s theme "Grab Original Roots," is an invitation to consumers to try Wild Root and reconnect with the values, heritage, and determination that shape their journey.
