The Railway Board launched the Nationwide Digital Life Certificate (Jeevan Pramaan) 5.0 Campaign, which began on November 1 and will conclude on November 30, to help railway pensioners and family pensioners submit their life certificates through digital modes such as Face Authentication and Biometric Authentication. This initiative aims to reduce the need for physical visits to banks and offices.

As part of this, the South Western Railway (SWR), Mysuru division, will hold special Digital Life Certificate camps at five locations to assist railway pensioners and family pensioners in generating and submitting their Digital Life Certificates. The camp at Mysuru will be held at the Railway Kalyana Mantapa on November 6. Camps at Hassan and Shivamogga will be conducted at the respective SMR offices in the railway stations on November 12. Similarly, on November 18, camps at Arsikere and Harihar will be held at the SSE/Permanent Way Office near Arsikere Railway Station and the SMR office at Harihar Railway Station, respectively. All the camps will be conducted from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Nominated Welfare Inspectors and other staff will be available for assistance. Those attending the camps are advised to bring a copy of their Pension Payment Order (PPO), original Aadhaar Card, bank passbook or bank account details linked with the PPO, and an Aadhaar-linked mobile phone. They may also carry a valid photo identity card for verification, if required, according to a press release.

For further information and assistance, pensioners and family pensioners can contact 0821-2866230/2866231 or 9731667611.

The SWR, Mysuru division, has appealed to all railway pensioners and family pensioners to make use of this special facility and participate in the Jeevan Pramaan 5.0 Campaign to ensure convenient and hassle-free submission of their Digital Life Certificates.
