Schools told to update attendance records on ISMS portal

The Telangana School Education Department has directed all private schools across the State to immediately update pending student-wise and teacher-wise attendance details for June, July, August and September 2026 in the Integrated School Management System (ISMS) Portal.

School Education director E. Naveen Nicolas, who is also the State project director for Samagra Shiksha, has instructed all headmasters and principals to ensure regular and timely updating of attendance records. He also said that monthly attendance details must be uploaded to the ISMS portal by the first of the succeeding month without fail.

The Ministry of Education, he said, frequently seeks attendance-related information from schools across the State, and maintaining accurate and updated records in the portal is essential. He instructed all District Educational Officers (DEOs) to monitor compliance by private management schools under their respective jurisdictions.

In another development, the department has introduced a facility for parents of government school students to access their children’s Summative Assessment-I (SA-I) examination progress cards through WhatsApp. Mr. Nicolas urged headmasters and teachers to create awareness among parents about the service.

Ai (Anna Yamada) is an unpopular pupil who has always tried to fit in, and Yu (Yuzu Aoki) is a transfer student who more deliberately resists the demands of peer pressure.
