Kore opens car showroom in Belagavi

He and other guests handed over keys of vehicles to customers.
Dr. Kore said that four generations of the Deshpande family have been involved in the business and recalled his association with the family.
Managing director Rohit Deshpande traced the family’s four generations in the automobile trade.
“It began with my grandfather G.C. Deshpande who imported Chrysler and GM cars into the region. Rajabhau Deshpande and his brothers dealt in Lambretta scooters, Suvega mopeds and Standard cars. Rohit Deshpande was one of the first-phase Honda two-wheeler dealers in the country in 2002. Mangesh Honda has sold over 2.5 lakh vehicles in 25 years,” he said.
Kapil Deshpande has joined the business now, he said.
Educationist Raj Belgaumkar, industrialist Ram Bhandare, architect and structural consultant Rahul Deshpande, managing director of Belgaum Ferrocast India Sachin Sabnis, vice-president of Mangesh Motors Pranjal Shah, director Neeta Deshpande and others were present, said a release.
