Municipal verdict a mandate to serve more, says HRD Minister Nara Lokesh

The TDP-led coalition is accepting the results with humility as people’s blessing for the good governance, he avers

Keeping the trust people placed in us is our real responsibility, says HRD Minister Nara Lokesh.

IT & HRD Minister Nara Lokesh has said that the municipal polls verdict is a mandate to serve but not to celebrate.

In a post on X on Tuesday, Mr. Lokesh said the TDP-led coalition was accepting it with humility as the people’s blessing for the good governance of the last two-and-a-half years. He congratulated the victorious TDP, Jana Sena and BJP candidates, and leaders and workers for their collective efforts.

“Now that the municipal elections are over, our only focus is service, for every citizen, beyond party lines. There is no room for arrogance. Keeping the trust people placed in us is our real responsibility, and we will work harder than ever to deliver on their aspirations,” he added.
