BJP State unit president Nainar Nagenthran on Thursday (November 5, 2026) rejected allegations made by Minister for Energy Resources and Law C.T.R. Nirmal Kumar that the AIADMK and the BJP were conspiring to bring down the TVK-led government in Tamil Nadu.

In a social media post, Mr. Nagenthran criticised the Minister for “having failed to resolve issues” such as rising procurement cost of electricity and escape of prisoners. He further described the Minister’s claim as baseless.

According to him, it was the TVK which conspired to take legislators from other parties and it was paradoxical to claim that other parties were attempting to get legislators from the TVK. No diversion tactics could hide the “inefficiency of the TVK government,” he said.

Netanyahu loses religious party’s support as rival tipped to form government

President Isaac Herzog was holding a second day of consultations with political parties after the October 27 election, in which neither Netanyahu — a polarising right-winger who has led Israel through three years of war — nor Eisenkot secured enough votes for a majority.
