JioStar India Pvt. Ltd. has approached the Kerala High Court, challenging an injunction order restraining the release of a web series allegedly based on the Koodathayi serial murder case.

The release of the series had been halted following an interim injunction granted by a munsiff court on a suit filed by Jolyamma Joseph, the prime accused in the alleged murder of six members of her family. She was accused of committing the murders with the aim of taking control of the family property, according to the findings of the investigation. The matter has been posted for hearing on November 6.
