The Chottanikkara police on Thursday (November 5, 2026) arrested a 45-year-old woman for allegedly murdering her twin sister.
The arrested was identified as Sajitha, 45, a native of Kannur. She was accused of assaulting her sister Sabitha causing her death due to fatal head injuries at the Devaswom Sathram, where the two had been staying along with their elder brother for a religious ritual since October 29.
