MultiChoice introduces new DStv and GOtv package

MultiChoice Nigeria, a CANAL+ company, has introduced new subscription packages for its DStv and GOtv platforms to broaden its offerings and improve subscribers’ viewing experience.

The company unveiled the packages at an event held on Wednesday at The Royal Box, Victoria Island, Lagos. Media professionals, industry stakeholders, partners and other guests attended the event to witness the unveiling and learn about the updated subscription options.

The new arrangement, which takes effect on 5 November, brings SuperSport KICKOFF and Africa Magic+ to the lower subscription tiers. According to MultiChoice, the additions will give more households across the country access to football and Nigerian drama.

Under the revised arrangement, DStv subscribers can choose from four packages: Starter, Select, Sports and Premium. GOtv customers, meanwhile, will have access to Easy, Starter, Select and Sports.

MultiChoice Nigeria CEO Kemi Omotosho said the company incorporated subscribers’ feedback into developing its new packages.

She said the changes reflect Nigerians’ calls for improved value, greater choice and content that caters to their preferences.

Folu Storms and Deji Osikoya co-hosted the event, which featured performances by spoken-word artist Ibquake and The Loud Choir. The two acts entertained attendees with a medley of popular Nigerian songs.

Several personalities attended the event, including media executives Darey Art Alade and Deola Art Alade, filmmaker Tola Odunsi, actress Enado Odigie, costume designer Yolanda Okereke, BBNaija stars Temi Nkem, Kola Omotosho and Imisi Ayanwale, and media personalities Uti Nwachukwu, Chuey Chu and Hero Daniels.

Kellogg’s admits snap, crackle and pop is quieter after uproar over Rice Krispies recipe change

Kellogg’s has told the BBC that the “snap, crackle and pop” sound in its Rice Krispies may be noticeably quieter after an uproar over the cereal giant’s recipe change.
