Two youths killed, four injured as car rams into lorry on NH 563 near Huzurabad

Two youths returning home from a pilgrimage were killed and four others injured when their car rammed into a lorry on National Highway 563 at Rangapur village in Huzurabad mandal in the wee hours of Saturday.

The deceased, Aravind and Sai, both aged around 22, were residents of Ramagundam in Peddapalli district.

They were returning to Ramagundam from Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh after visiting the Indrakeeladri temple when the accident occurred.

According to sources, the car rammed into the lorry from behind after its driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle.

The injured were shifted to MGM hospital in Warangal. Huzurabad police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
