The Nandyal district police has put in place elaborate security measures to ensure that the scrutiny of nominations for the local body elections across the district proceeds smoothly and peacefully. Police personnel have been deployed at all centres and offices where the scrutiny of nominations is taking place.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Suneel Sheoran personally visited the nomination scrutiny centres in Nandyal, Sirivella, Rudravaram, and Allagadda on Saturday to review the security arrangements. The SP instructed police officials and staff to maintain constant oversight to ensure strict adherence to the election code of conduct and to guarantee that the nomination scrutiny process remains free from any disruptions. He stressed the need to ensure security arrangements so that candidates and election officials can carry out their duties in a peaceful environment.
