10.20pm, BBC Two Given the archive the BBC has accumulated in 90 years, there’s a lot of choice when it comes to its greatest musical moments. Bowie, Sparks or Nirvana on Top of the Pops? Bob Marley on The Old Grey Whistle Test? Kate Bush on Wogan? Amy Winehouse on Later? Stormzy at Glastonbury? Expect wall-to-wall icons. Phil Harrison
9pm, BBC One This year, the reliably moving celebration of the fallen, from the Royal Albert Hall, features performances from Alfie Boe, James Emmanuel, Mica Paris, Rita Wilson, Tom Odell and bands assembled from the RAF and the Marines. They’ll be joined by senior royals, current service personnel and, most importantly, the sadly diminishing band of veterans who have served and sacrificed. PH
5.45pm, BBC One Roman Kemp and Sarah Greene return with the quiz that combines basic questions with gliding podiums as contenders move seamlessly (or not) towards the finish line. It’s easygoing fun, particularly when a contestant fails to recognise Roman’s family band, Spandau Ballet. PH
6.30pm, BBC One After a Halloween extravaganza where Shirley’s critiques were fittingly spine-chilling, it’s business as usual again as this year’s competition reaches the halfway mark. Sunday’s results show also features what is billed as a “poignant group routine” for Remembrance Sunday, performed by the pros. Hannah J Davies
8.15pm, Channel 5 Your worries about the climate apocalypse are over: King Charles and his son William are on the case. A 95-minute documentary looks back at Charles’s decades of dedicated environmental activism, before profiling how William’s Earthshot initiative has gone a step further by funding planet-saving innovations. Jack Seale
9pm, Sky Atlantic This horror-tinged drama continues to thrive off the chemistry between the lead investigators. This time, Carson (Clark Backo) shines as a provocative interrogation gets results. However, with the death of Logan (Hudson Williams) confirmed, the focus shifts. Was it a sacrifice? Or just “dumb rich kid shit that got out of hand”? PH
The Bride Wore Black (François Truffaut, 1968), 9.10pm, BBC Four
With its femme fatale, revenge plot and Bernard Herrmann score, François Truffaut’s 1968 thriller is clearly a homage to the French director’s hero, Alfred Hitchcock. But being a prime mover in the radical Nouvelle Vague movement, Truffaut skews the generic plot with off-kilter comedy, boldly undramatic killings and arch social commentary. And in Jeanne Moreau’s widow Julie – who targets the chauvinistic men who killed her husband on their wedding day – we have a cool, calculating heroine who only rarely reveals the trauma behind her actions. Simon Wardell
