A search is underway for a 17-year-old boy who went missing while camping in Victoria's east on Friday afternoon.
William was camping with another teenager in Walhalla East when he walked a short distance to another part of their camp near Stoney Creek Road and T2 Track, but failed to return.
"When he failed to return shortly after, the boy searched the area but found no trace of Will," a police spokesperson said.
Police believe the Latrobe Valley teen may have become disorientated and lost his way in the terrain.
His family and police have growing concerns for him as he was wearing minimal clothing at the time, including a pair of shorts and workboots.
Officers from the Public Order Response Team, Dog Squad, Mounted Branch, and Search and Rescue squad are involved in the search today.
A command post has also been established in Cowwarr.
Anyone who sees Will should contact Triple Zero or anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
