KITS-Warangal to host national-level technical symposium on October 30, 31

Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science, Warangal (KITS-W), will organise a two-day national-level student technical symposium titled Sumshodhini’26 on October 30 and 31, on the theme ‘Beyond Conventional Thinking’.

In a press note, principal K. Ashoka Reddy said the symposium will feature over 50 technical events, including paper presentations and 10 hands-on workshops on emerging technologies and real-world engineering applications.

The workshops will cover areas such as generative and agentic artificial intelligence, large language models, blockchain, edge AI, robotics, solar photovoltaic systems and product design. Cash prizes of up to ₹1 lakh will be awarded for the best innovative research paper presentations.

The symposium aims to provide students with an interdisciplinary platform to exchange technical knowledge, explore emerging technologies and develop leadership and communication skills. Students can register through the institute website, kitsw.ac.in, and submit research papers in IEEE format to sumshodhini@kitsw.ac.in by October 28.
