MTN Ghana has rewarded more than 30,000 customers with cash prizes, while nine subscribers have won brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser Prados as part of activities marking the company's 30th anniversary.

The rewards form part of MTN’s Mega Promo, introduced to appreciate customers for their loyalty and continued support over the past years.

At a presentation ceremony in Accra, Senior Manager for Consumer Marketing at MTN Ghana, Sandra Adu Antwi, said the promotion was designed to give back to customers as part of the company's anniversary celebrations.

She explained that customers accumulated points through their regular use of MTN services, including voice calls, internet browsing, social media, mobile money transfers and payments.

“This is our birthday, but we said that let's give back to our customers, let's give something to them,” she said.

She added that the promotion was deliberately made simple to allow customers to participate through their everyday activities without undertaking any extra tasks.

Under the promotion, customers with the highest accumulated points were selected for the monthly car prizes, while others received cash rewards.

One of the Prado winners, Benedicta Obeng Asare from Sowutuom in Accra, described her win as a dream come true.

She said she was in a car when she received a call from MTN informing her that she had won the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.

“I wasn't expecting it. I was super, super glad. It's a dream come true that I've gotten this Toyota Land Cruiser,” she said.

She encouraged other MTN subscribers to participate in MTN promotions, assuring them that the rewards were genuine.

The anniversary promotion forms part of MTN Ghana's customer appreciation efforts as the telecommunications company celebrates 30 years of operations in the country.
