Telangana Global Summit curtain raiser in New Delhi on October 29

The Telangana government has decided to take its Global Summit event to the national capital with a curtain-raiser event in New Delhi on October 29 to promote the Invest Telangana Global Summit–2026, scheduled to be held at Bharat Future City, near Hyderabad, on December 7, 8 and 9.

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will attend the event, which is expected to bring together ambassadors and diplomats from various countries, CEOs of global companies, representatives of the World Bank and investment promotion agencies from different countries. The programme is aimed at attracting international investors to the three-day summit and showcasing Telangana as a preferred destination for investments.

Representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce, Taiwan External Trade Development Council and Indo-Canada Business Chamber, along with CEOs of various start-ups, are expected to attend the Delhi event. The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Invest India will partner in organising the programme.

The government plans to highlight Telangana’s established industrial ecosystem and strengths across key sectors, including information technology, pharmaceuticals, defence and aerospace. More than 165 companies from the Fortune 2000 list are already operating in Hyderabad, reflecting the city’s position as a major corporate and technology hub.

Officials have already begun roadshows in several countries to engage global industrialists and invite them to participate in the summit. Promotional activities are also being planned in major Indian cities, including Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.

The State will also showcase Hyderabad’s recognition as one of India’s most liveable cities, having secured the distinction for six consecutive times, and its second position nationally in the NITI Aayog Innovation Index in technology and innovation.
