MultiChoice Ghana has announced four new DStv subscription packages, with monthly prices ranging from GH¢50 to GH¢570, as part of efforts to provide subscribers with more affordable and flexible viewing options.

The packages, which take effect on November 5, 2026, were unveiled at a joint press briefing organised by the Ministry of Communications, Digital Technology and Innovation and MultiChoice Ghana on Monday, October 26.

Speaking at the briefing, the Country Chief Executive Officer of MultiChoice Ghana, Alex Okyere, explained that the new packages offer different channel selections, sports coverage and entertainment content to suit subscribers' budgets and viewing preferences.

Under the new arrangement, the Starter Pack, priced at GH¢50 per month, provides access to 90 television channels, making it the most affordable option.

The Select Pack, which costs GH¢100 monthly, offers 123 channels, providing subscribers with a broader range of entertainment and television programmes.

For sports enthusiasts, the Sports Pack, priced at GH¢250 per month, provides football coverage alongside channels available under the Starter and Select packages.

The Ultimate Pack, costing GH¢570 monthly, is the highest-priced option, combining premium sports coverage with a wider selection of entertainment content.

MultiChoice Ghana explained that the revised subscription structure is intended to give customers greater flexibility in choosing packages that meet their entertainment needs and financial circumstances.

The new pricing arrangement will officially come into effect on November 5, allowing subscribers to select from the four packages based on their preferred content and monthly budgets.
