Yellow Card wins top Diamond honour at 2026 Money Awards

Yellow Card has won Gold in the Diamond category at the 2026 Money Awards, securing its second consecutive recognition at the global fintech awards following its Grand Prix victory in the Payments category last year. According to the company, the Diamond category is the programme’s highest honour, recognising transformative achievements in the global financial technology industry.

Yellow Card has won Gold in the Diamond category at the 2026 Money Awards, securing its second consecutive recognition at the global fintech awards following its Grand Prix victory in the Payments category last year.

The award was presented on Sunday, October 18, in Las Vegas during Money20/20 USA. According to the company, the Diamond category is the programme’s highest honour, recognising transformative achievements in the global financial technology industry.

Yellow Card Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Chris Maurice said the recognition reflected the company’s growth from its early ambitions in emerging markets to expanding its operations globally and working with major corporate and financial institutions.

“This year, we made bold decisions to take what we’d built in emerging markets and expand our vision globally,” he said, adding that the award was particularly meaningful at the current stage of the company’s development.

The award follows a year of significant developments for the stablecoin infrastructure provider. In June, Yellow Card was named on Fortune’s inaugural Crypto Innovators list. It also secured $40 million in strategic funding, expanded into Latin America, Asia-Pacific and North America, and obtained anti-money laundering regulatory affiliation in Switzerland.

The company also launched Global Accounts, a service that allows businesses to open named US dollar, pound sterling and euro accounts and access local payment systems in more than 190 countries through a single application programming interface or its Treasury Portal.

Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder Justin Poiroux said the recognition highlighted the work of the team in developing technology to simplify cross-border payments and support businesses operating across different markets.

He said receiving the honour for a second consecutive year was a proud moment for the company, as it continues to build stablecoin infrastructure connecting businesses and financial institutions around the world.
