WARNING: The following story contains details that may distress some readers.
A woman has described in chilling detail how she stabbed her ex-girlfriend multiple times in a drug-fuelled attack in her home after the woman allegedly tried to give her infant daughter illicit drugs.
Hannah Louise Glover was giving evidence in the trial of James Anthony Sorgiovanni, 29, who is accused of murdering Tara Morrison in Busselton in 2024.
Glover, 30, had also been charged with murder but pleaded guilty part-way through the trial, following the evidence of a woman who said Glover had confessed to the killing while the pair were in prison.
On Tuesday, Glover detailed the final moments of Tara Morrison's life in chilling detail to a packed WA Supreme Court room.
The 30-year-old's testimony was direct and largely emotionless, and she only shed tears when she spoke about her daughter.
She told the court she had been using drugs on the night of the killing, along with Ms Morrison and Mr Sorgiovanni, including methylamphetamine and GHB, also known as 'fantasy'.
Glover told the court that Ms Morrison came to her home in April 2024 with clothing and groceries, and the plan was for her to stay at the house.
However, Mr Sorgiovanni was unhappy with the idea because he was jealous, she said.
Glover said that at the time, they had "run out of money from buying so much drugs".
She said she had heard her daughter cry, and claimed she discovered Ms Morrison holding the infant in her room, trying to give her GHB.
She stopped this from happening and settled her daughter, she said, before Mr Sorgiovanni asked: "What are you going to do about it?"
Glover told the court Ms Morrison walked into her bedroom, and Mr Sorgiovanni "grabbed her by the arms". Glover then stabbed her.
The trio then moved to an area near the front door of the house, where she stabbed Ms Morrison a further three times in the neck.
Ms Morrison broke free, the court heard, but Glover attacked her again in various locations in the house as Mr Sorgiovanni restrained her.
Glover agreed, and said she thought she had stabbed Ms Morrison "10 to 15" times.
She told the court that when she left Ms Morrison, she was slumped and not moving.
"She was trying to breathe," Glover told the court.
Glover said she saw Mr Sorgiovanni subsequently stab Ms Morrison "in the chest area", before telling her "it's done".
She told the court she washed herself in the bathroom before finding her daughter was awake.
Glover said she then asked Mr Sorgiovanni: "What the f*** did we just do?"
Glover told the court she only used one knife, contrary to what the court had heard previously.
She said she did not know how Ms Morrison's body ended up in her daughter's wardrobe.
Glover testified that, at the time, she weighed 48 kilograms and would not have been able to move the body.
