Minister of MSME Kondapalli Srinivas said on Friday (23 October, 2026) that TDP, JSP, and BJP candidates would secure comfortable majorities in the upcoming parishad and municipal elections, due to the effective implementation of welfare schemes and developmental activities in the district. He added that the overwhelming response for the party’s seats clearly indicated that the candidates were confident of winning in the elections.

Mr. Srinivas campaigned for ZPTC and MPTC candidates in his constituency, Gajapathinagaram, and later for the mayoral candidate of Vizianagaram, Avanapu Bharagavi. Speaking to the media, Mr. Srinivas said that seat adjustments among NDA parties had been completed successfully in all places and stated that vote transfer would also be carried out smoothly within NDA parties.

He said that the North Andhra region would witness more progress with the vision of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, referring to the successful completion of the airport construction at Bhogapuram in Vizianagaram district.
