Railway employees urged to uphold integrity, gain public trust
Railway officials and staff of Vijayawada Division take an integrity pledge as part of Vigilance Awareness Week, in Vijayawada on Thursday.
Officials of the South Coast Railway (SCoR), Vijayawada Division, observed Vigilance Awareness Week on Thursday by organising a walkathon to stress the need for accountability and for promoting values.
Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Mohit Sonakiya, officials and staff took an integrity pledge reaffirming to prevent corruption, maintain transparency and ethical conduct in public service.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Mohit Sonakiya said that every railway employee should discharge duties with honesty, fairness and a strong sense of responsibility. The SCoR, Vijayawada Division, will continue to uphold the highest standards of integrity, render corrupt-free services and gain public trust, the DRM said.
