Weaver found dead in Belagavi

A 35-year-old weaver was found dead in his house in Belagavi on Thursday.
His family members found the body of Somnath Shankar Bangodi in the morning. He is survived by his his wife Rathnavva Somanth, sons Manoj and Kumar and daughter Gauri.
His family members told the police that he was upset as he was unable to repay a loan of ₹4 lakh as he had stopped working due to a stroke.
The children are in school and need support, Ms. Rathnavva said.
A delegation of the weavers welfare association led by Ravi Patil visited his house.
