Puma Becomes Official Apparel and Footwear Sponsor of San Francisco Marathon

Puma has signed its first-ever U.S. marathon apparel and footwear sponsorship with Jumping Fences Inc. , the event producer of the San Francisco Marathon.

The partnership will include sponsorship of all events during the race weekend in July as well as rights exclusive shoes and clothing. The program kicks off July 21 at Fort Mason Park with the Health and Fitness Expo followed by an Ultramarathon, 5K Fun Run and a Family 1K on July 22. The full marathon, half marathon, 10k and 5k will take place the following day.

As part of the agreement, Puma will also be the title sponsor of the Run365 training program of the San Francisco Marathon, one of the Bay Area's largest training programs. The eight-week program began May 27 and aims to encourage runners of all paces.

In 2021, Puma, which has a long history in athletics, immersed itself in racing on category performance road with its Nitro foam technology that provides responsiveness and cushioning. Since then, he has sponsored elite American long-distance runners, including 2021 Olympic bronze medalist Molly Seidel as well as Sara Vaughn and Dakotah Lindwurm.
