Sister Wives star Kody Brown seemed to have the privilege of deciding what appears on screen and what does not, but new and embarrassing evidence has fans of this TLC show thinking this may no longer be the case.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown’s Light Drama Turns Brutal

From early on, Kody Brown and his four wives praised TLC for allowing the Sister Wives spouses to offer their input on what they didn’t want to reveal to the public. When Kody and his wives wrote a book together years ago, Janelle Brown said the production and camera crews cared about the family’s feelings and wouldn’t put something on the screen if asked not to.

Back in the early days of the Sister Wives series, some discord within the family made it to the screen. Just as Janelle said years back in that book, they had to show some drama. And they did, but nothing that compared to the last few seasons, which were brutal.

Kody’s Veil Lifted?

Many Sister Wives fans note how today’s crude drama on the series only popped up in the last few seasons. But many suggest this is Kody Brown’s ticket to Season 20, which is already filming.

The awful things he said about his wives, you wouldn’t hear come out of his mouth about anybody at the beginning of this series.

So, Kody had his field day bashing Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, and Christine Brown. But it seems the veil has now been lifted off him as well.

One of the things Sister Wives fans learned about Kody Brown is that he prides himself on his appearance. We’ve seen his hair routine, which involves at least 10 steps, from vigorous washing to his hair blower diffuser.

Plus the dozen-or-so hair products he uses. But suddenly, TLC shows him in a different light during the last couple of seasons to air.

Sister Wives: Fans Think This Looks Awful

Sister Wives fans are buzzing over the latest screenshot to surface of Kody Brown. So, it seems Kody got away with saying all those horrific things about his now-ex-wives during the last few seasons.

But now it looks like he wasn’t left unscathed when it came to embarrassing clips. Since the beginning of Sister Wives, we seldom got a glimpse of Kody looking untidy.

But we hardly ever get to see the man with the ringlets with a hair out of place. It appears those days are gone. Just check it out below.

The photo above is making its way around social media today. This screenshot came out of the scene where Kody and Robyn put together a vanity for Ariella Brown. The image offers a bird’s-eye view of the top of Kody’s head. This is a view that Kody likely would have nixed in the past.

But it looks like he’s fair game today. Seeing this screenshot has fans suggesting Kody doesn’t have the liberty anymore to request an edit. So, it looks like TLC isn’t being one-sided by letting him air his awful zingers about his wives and then keeping his less-than-stellar shots under wraps.

If Kody can blurt out his cruel comments about his wives, then fans think the Sister Wives show can make the playing field even. The show should be able to roll out anything the cameras capture about Kody Brown, embarrassing or not.
