Sister Wives: Tony Padron Stuns Mykelti Brown with Poopy Count

Sister Wives fans. So, I’m wondering, and I think Mykelti Brown Padron is also wondering right about now, whether or not Tony Padron is letting his kids sit around in dirty diapers because he and Mykelti were answering some fan questions on a podcast recently, and Tony’s answer seemed to completely stun his wife. It’s pretty funny.

Sister Wives: The Early Days of Mykelti and Tony’s Relationship

If you don’t know their backstory of this Sister Wives couple, they started dating almost a decade ago when Mykelti was 19 and Tony was 21. And 10 months after they started dating, the two got engaged. Right before she turned 20, he proposed at a waterfall.

And Mykelti said back then that together we are perfect. And it definitely sounds like the operative word there is together. Because, you know, left to just Tony, their three kids might be pretty uncomfortable, maybe a little smelly. I’ll go into it in just a second, and Sister Wives fans will surely find this comical.

Mykelti and Tony’s Journey to Parenthood

So, less than 6 months after Tony proposed, he and Mykelti got married. Sister Wives fans got to see all the wedding planning as well as the wedding itself back in 2016. They were 20 and 22. And then they took their time before they started a family. So there’s no excuse here of just being super young and not knowing better.

And they’ve been around plenty of kids, especially Mykelti. So almost four years after Tony and Mykelti got married, she confirmed they were pregnant with their first child. They were like 24 and 26 then.

Sister Wives: Avalon’s Arrival and the Focus on the Twins

So this Sister Wives couple’s daughter, Avalon was born in spring 2021. It was a home birth for Mykelti and Avalon is now four years old. So, I don’t think this fan question was about their daughter because she may be potty trained or on the cusp of being potty trained. I think the question was more about the twins.

So, Mykelti and Tony also have twin boys, they were born in late 2022. Keeping with their “A” theme for first names, like Avalon, they named the boys Ace and Archer Padron. They’re 2 and a half years old, so obviously still in diapers. And I think the boys were who the fan was asking about.

Tony’s Diaper Changing Habits: A Hilarious Debate

So Tony was answering this Sister Wives‘ fan question about diaper changing. And first of all, kudos to Tony for participating in diaper changing. Not all husbands do. Mine was great about it. Some husbands are good, but some are not.

And Mykelti’s dad, Kody Brown, was accused, I think it was at Maddie’s first baby shower, of rarely changing diapers for the kids he had with Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, and Christine Brown. But when it came to Robyn Brown’s kids, apparently Kody was a more hands-on dad.

But that’s not terribly surprising. So anyway, full props to Tony for being a good dad and changing diapers, but Mykelti thinks something is off, and it is kind of funny.

Sister Wives: The Great Diaper Debate: Four or Eight Per Child?

So Sister Wives fans watched as Tony was asked about how many diapers they go through a day. Fair enough question, and you would think it would be easy enough to answer, but, no, it turned into a debate, and a funny one at that, between husband and wife.

So, while thinking about it, Tony said to Mykelti that she changes the first diaper in the morning, in which she agreed. And then he said about three hours later you change another one. But Mykelti chimed in to semi-correct her husband. She said that is unless there’s a poop between the first and second one.

And the Count Goes Up…

So for the first two out of three diapers of a day, these Sister Wives parents are the same page. And then Tony said he changes another diaper 3 to 4 hours later after their nap.

He said and they’ve done it again. So then Tony’s holding up three fingers and said that’s three. And if you’re lucky, you only change one more before bed. And then he says, “So that’s four.” Tony counts four diapers a day for his toddler twin boys. And Mykelti looked at the finger count and then asked, “How often do you watch your kids?”

And then Tony corrected and said, “There might be five.” and said, “Sometimes there’s an extra one because if they poop extra or if they’re like teething, you’ll throw in another.” And the look on Mykelti’s face said it all. Her jaw was literally dropped. She was in shock. And she asked, “You really only think on average our kids go through four or five diapers a day?”

And then Tony asked, “Per child?” And that was one of the funniest scenes we have seen this Sister Wives character in yet. Like, of course, per child. What else would that mean?

So, Mykelti said, “Yes, per child.” And Tony said, “Yeah.” And Mykelti is just staring, with her mouth wide open at Tony and then said… “Try seven or eight.” And Tony lets out a very doubtful and strong “no”. And Mykelti gives him this huge dose of side eye, but he says no again.

Sister Wives: The Aftermath: Mykelti’s Concerns and Tony’s Involvement

So, I’m sure that Mykelti had some follow-up questions for Tony after the podcast. I could see Mykelti asking, you know, “Hey, Tony, did the kids sit around in wet diapers if I’m not home?” Wow. For two-year-olds, just wow. But I again, I do give Tony credit. Mykelti’s husband seems very present with their kids, very involved. So maybe Tony just loses count in the chaos of chasing after twin boys. Otherwise, that might be some stanky stuff.
