Young and Restless: Victor’s Ruthless Move on Kyle – Y&R Explodes!

Young and the Restless sees Victor Newman‘s (Eric Braeden) about to do Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) even dirtier than we’ve ever seen before on the CBS soap. We’re going to dive into the wicked plan Victor kicks off as he makes a last-ditch effort to get Kyle out of Claire Grace Newman‘s (Hayley Erin) life once and for all.

The Escalating Conflict: Victor’s Obsession with Kyle and Claire’s Relationship

So, we’ve all seen Kyle bending over backwards to prove himself to Victor and get his approval to be with Claire. But Victor is still determined to get Claire to reject Kyle and see that he’s this big loser, you know, the same way Victor sees him, unworthy to be with Claire. At Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) big bash.

Of course, we saw Kyle do exactly what Claire asked. He made a grand gesture to Nikki hoping to impress Victor. I thought Kyle delivered a great speech. Then he gave Nikki that thoughtful charm bracelet, but of course had zero effect on Victor Newman .

But at the same time, Kyle figured it wasn’t going to work. So he had another plan in his back pocket, a contractual offer for Victor. So, we saw Kyle pull Victor aside and he offered to sign a contract that he called a pre-prenup that if he hurt Claire and broke her heart, he would leave Genoa City. Plus, Kyle would pay Victor $5 million for the, you know, mistake of breaking Claire’s heart. And so, Kyle hoped and thought maybe that’s enough to make Victor see just how deeply that Kyle’s committed to Claire.

Victor’s Deceptive Acceptance and Sinister Plot Against Kyle

Unfortunately, all Kyle’s good intentions are about to be used against him because on Young and the Restless this week, Victor is doubling down on doing Kyle dirty. So, first, Victor summons Kyle over to the new ranch house and says, “You know, that deal you offered really impressed me.”

Victor acts like, you know, he was persuaded because he could see this level of commitment to Claire. Now, not only that, but Victor says he was wrong about Kyle and he’s going to accept the offer. And in fact, Victor says, “You know what? I already had the document drawn up.”

Young and the Restless: Kyle Wants Answers

So, before signing, Kyle wants to know why Victor hates him so much. But of course, he’s not going to explain himself to Kyle or anybody. We all know Victor. doesn’t have a good reason. My explanation is that The Mustache is being a hateful jerk because he’s still mad that Jack saved Nikki from her most recent alcohol addiction spiral when Victor didn’t save her and was actually making it worse because he was keeping booze around the house and refusing to consider putting her in rehab.

That’s what he should have done when she first got back after the IV vodka incident is said, “Baby, you’re gonna go to rehab.” And Victor could have driven in there. Nikki would have done it. That would have been it. But he didn’t. And keeping booze around the house when you have somebody in an alcohol spiral is just cruel and dumb.

Y&R: Victor Accuses Kyle

So, back to this. Kyle tells Victor he hopes someday that he can see him as more than just Jack’s son, see that Kyle is his own man. And so Victor hands over the document. Kyle, of course, wants his lawyer to just check it out. But then Victor accuses him of trying to weasel out of it. So Kyle just signs it. Oh my gosh. He just signs it. It’s crazy. And then he tells Victor that he’ll never have to enforce the contract because Kyle will never break Claire’s heart, which I believe his intent, Kyle’s intent is 100% on point. He really means this.

And just to show what kind of a jerk that Victor’s being, he even shakes on it with Kyle like, you know, they’re both honorable men or something. And then Victor is on the phone with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) the second that Kyle leaves. Victor is demanding Audra to get over to the house, meet with him ASAP.

Audra’s Seduction Scheme: A Risky Invitation to Duma’s Party in Nice

So, of course, she runs over. And of course, Victor goes off on Audra for not making any progress, seducing Kyle and showing Claire how awful that Kyle is. So, Audra’s big suggestion is this: get her and Kyle both an invitation to Dumas’ big party next week in Nice, and she thinks she can make it work. Audra says while they’re out of town, Kyle’s away from Claire she can make something happen.

So, I’m guessing Victor is going to make the invitation thing happen. But there’s that question, why would Kyle agree to go? Maybe Audra is going to go him about her getting an invite and that Duma must see the potential in her company. Something like that. Because Kyle has been bizarrely competitive about her new cosmetics company that she’s starting, which to me, sloppy writing, because Jabot is a powerhouse that’s been around for decades. Audra is a nobody and her company isn’t even a thing. So why would Kyle care at all?

The Looming Betrayal: Victor’s Manipulation and Potential Fallout

So as of now, it’s actually Victor who is plotting to break Claire’s heart on Young and the Restless. Let’s just be real clear on that. Her heart will probably be broken, but it’s Victor doing it. By conspiring with Audra to set Kyle up for cheating when he knows that Claire and Kyle love each other is just awful.

Awful, but you know, not unprecedented. And if anybody should have to pay out 5 million bucks and leave town, it’s the great Victor Newman. And who even knows what else is in that contract? because Kyle signed it without his attorney looking it over.

And let’s be real, if Audra and Kyle are both at the mystery man’s house, yeah, it’d be pretty easy for her to slip something into his drink, and Audra could get him down the hall into a bedroom, strip them both down, snap some incriminating photos of her with Kyle, looking like they just shagged, and then, you know, Audra could head back to Genoa City, and this could go a couple of ways from there. You know, she could show them to Claire and say, “I’m sorry, but I thought you should know.” You know, like she just had to let her know.

Young and the Restless: What Will Audra do with the Photos?

Audra, if she did that, you know, she might think she could reveal those pics to Claire and that’d be the end of it. She’d break up with Kyle, you know, no harm, no foul in her life. But Audra might also give the photos to Victor thinking he’d show them to Claire and that would break up her and Kyle. But I do think Victor is really underestimating his granddaughter. Claire’s not going to take anything that Audra or Victor show her or tell her at face value.

She would confront Kyle, get his side of the story, and from there, I would expect Claire to march over and tell Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) that his girlfriend is a sketchy cheater who is doing dirty business with her granddad. And all of this is going to put Audra in a tough spot, however it works out on Young and the Restless. Either she’s going to have to reveal she didn’t cheat and that she was just doing it to set up Kyle because Victor asked her to or she could lose her man.

Young and the Restless: Will Audra Come Clean?

And if she comes clean, Audra is going to lose the funds to start her company. So, it’s going to be love or money, baby. You know, as for Victor, this could go another way. He could show the photos to Kyle and say, “Pay up and leave town.” Or, “I’m going to show them to Claire.” So, we could see Victor calling Kyle a disgusting cheater and basically trying to trick him without even showing the photos to Claire so that she doesn’t even know. I mean, that would be the best case, right?

Victor could tell Kyle they can spare Claire’s feelings and Kyle can just leave, go to Jabot Paris, go to Italy with Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and be there with Harrison Locke (Redding Munsell), you know. But in the end, I fully expect Claire is going to find out the truth about her grandpa Victor and this dirty thing. And this whole thing, I think, is going to blow up in both Audra and Victor’s faces, not in Kyle’s face ultimately.

Young and the Restless: Victor’s Horrible Actions and the Unpredictable Aftermath

So, yeah, Victor is setting out to do just a horrible thing to Kyle and a horrible thing to his own granddaughter who he claims to love. I doubt he’s going to get away with it. And here’s what’s scary. We all know this is not the worst thing Victor has ever done. Far from it.
