Meanwhile, Brad Pitt recently obtained a court order requiring Angelina Jolie to provide previously withheld communications in connection with their ongoing dispute over the Château Miraval winery.

Jolie, 50, is turning a longtime dream into reality: leaving the United States for a more private life in Europe and Cambodia.
Sources reveal that the actress and humanitarian is selling her $25 million estate in Los Feliz, the Cecil B. DeMille property where she has lived with her six children since 2017.
Jolie seeks more privacy and a slower pace, planning to split her time between New York, home to her boutique and design studio, Atelier Jolie – Europe, and Cambodia, where she has had a home since 2003, shortly after adopting her eldest son, Maddox.

“She can’t get away enough from the drama…the only way to get a break is to get out,” actor and producer Jae Benjamin, a longtime friend of Jolie’s, said, according to Page six. “She’s going to decompress – working only on things that drive her heart, soul and passion. She’s a wonderful, talented and generous woman.”
The Los Feliz Estate, named after legendary filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille, spans 2.1 acres and includes a main house, gardens, swimming pool and studio. Jolie has already started actively showing the property to potential buyers.

This major decision comes after a turbulent chapter in Jolie’s personal life. The actress finalized her divorce from Brad Pitt on December 30, 2024, ending eight years of legal battles, and is now seeking a fresh start away from the public eye and the confines of Los Angeles.
His children played a central role in his decision to stay in Los Angeles. She has six children, three adopted, Maddox, 24; Pax, 22; Zahara, 20, and three biologicals, Shiloh, 19; twins Vivienne and Knox, 17 years old.
Jolie stayed in town to keep her family close, but when Vivienne and Knox turn 18 on July 12, the “Maleficent” actress will be free to move out.
“I’m here because I have to be here after a divorce, but as soon as they turn 18, I can leave,” she said. The Hollywood Reporter in 2024.

Although the divorce was officially settled in late 2024, the “Maria” actress and Pitt continue to argue over their French winery, Château Miraval.

Actress considers her private life abroad as her children gain independence

Her decision follows years of public scrutiny and legal entanglements stemming from her divorce. Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in 2016, citing a heated incident aboard a private jet.
Pitt has denied the allegations, and investigations by the FBI and Department of Children and Family Services have found no evidence of wrongdoing. The children reportedly sided with Jolie, who was their primary caregiver.
In recent years, some of her children have begun to assert their independence and distance themselves from the Oscar winner: Shiloh legally dropped “Pitt” from her name on her 18th birthday, Zahara introduced herself as Zahara Marley Jolie during her sorority induction, and Vivienne credited herself as Vivienne Jolie on a Broadway poster for “The Outsiders.”
Looking ahead, Jolie is excited about a life untethered from Los Angeles, planning to split her time between Cambodia, France and parts of Africa.
“They are all very special places. She has dear friends in these areas who she considers confidants and family,” a source said. People Magazine. “She’s looking forward to 2026 and the flexibility she will have then.”

Meanwhile, Pitt scored another procedural victory in his ongoing legal dispute with Jolie over their winery last December.
Court documents obtained by People reveal that a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ordered Jolie to turn over previously withheld or “unredacted” communications related to the Chateau Miraval case. The decision was issued on Wednesday, December 17, just one day before Pitt celebrated his 62nd birthday.
The judge approved Pitt’s motion to compel Jolie to provide complete, unredacted versions of certain communications that she previously claimed were protected by privilege.

According to the court order, Jolie is required to produce “in their entirety, within 45 days of this order, unredacted versions of the communications exchanged between non-attorneys in the 22 documents identified in Jolie’s privilege log dated February 14, 2025 with the document identification numbers set forth in the appendix to this order.” »
A source told the outlet that Pitt’s legal team believed the emails could demonstrate that Jolie had “been misleading all along about her true intentions in selling her share of the company to Stoli.”
