I passed a large soybean field. Yet, on the horizon – there it was – a brown, solitary, striking stalk of corn. Standing alone. I’m weird around soy.
Why was it there…? I didn’t know.
What I did know was that I was somehow proud of it – of being who it was, in the middle of a field of green.
I had to admire this rod. I imagined the soybean plants whispering, “You are not a corn stalk; you are soy. »
But maybe this little rod kept believing anyway. Maybe that continued to be part of what it was created to do. Perhaps he still believed that God had done things right, even in a completely green world.
To God, this corn stalk, in all its splendor, was perfectly destined.
I hope the rod knew that – because God never makes a mistake nor does He waste the way He creates His creation. That includes you, my friend. You are his marvelous handiwork.
Maybe today you feel like this rod.
You ask yourself:
“Why did God make me like this?”
“Why am I so different?”
“How come I haven’t figured it all out yet?”
What if you were not created to fit in, but to stand out?
What if the thing you hate most about yourself is the thing God plans to use most – powerfully?
What if everything seems boring to you, not because you are broken, but because God wants you to enter more into Him?
It’s a thought, isn’t it?
If He can speak through a corn stalk, how much more will He not speak through you?
“For creation eagerly awaits the revelation of the children of God. » —Romans 8:19

“It exceeded all expectations. The warmth, the welcome, the personal advancements – I left changed.”
If your heart moves, listen.
If you’re ready to go further, act accordingly.
God wastes nothing on how He created you.
You are not “too much”. You are absolutely right.
And maybe it’s finally time to believe it.
