The stuntman has reportedly been in talks to feature in a new film project with some of his best and most talked about moves from old footage making an appearance in the project.
Bam Margera was arrested in 2024 for violating his probation following his numerous run-ins with the law, including an instance where he was arrested for reckless driving and other charges that same year.

The media personality agreed that new clips of him performing these mind-blowing stunts will be featured in the upcoming film. However, nothing has been confirmed regarding his availability to perform these stunts in the flesh.
During the negotiation phase, sources said producers contacted Margera’s representatives late last year to inform them of the plan to begin filming “Jackass.”
The new film reportedly intends to go big on the stunts, while also unleashing nostalgia by giving viewers some old, but equally iconic Margera moves.
At the time, the source told TMZ that Margera was a little reluctant to work with the franchise again, but he tried to create a better deal for himself by offering to join as a partner and creative staff on set.

Insiders expressed hope for reconciliation between the stuntman and the ‘Jackass’ crew
Sources from the negotiations added that if the film’s team agrees, they could also put their beef to rest, especially now that the professional stuntman is well on his way to recovery from his addiction to the substance.
Another source predicted that if Margera and the other party came together for him to take responsibility for his actions and his role in their fallout, things would return to the way they were, which is that the “Jackass” crew wants the best for him.
The American skateboarder was already kicked out of the last film for breaking his contract by refusing to consume alcohol and harmful substances.

Things improved professionally for him last year, however, when he reunited with Tony Hawk and returned to the gaming network “Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater.” He also ended the year on a high note by reuniting with his “Jackass” co-star Chris Pontius.

Bam Margera was ordered by a judge to seek treatment for his addiction
The 46-year-old was released from prison in September 2024 and his attorney confirmed he will enter a short-term program at the Recovery Centers of America for Inpatient Treatment.
As The Blast reports, sources revealed that the center will be his destination right after he gets out of prison to help bring closure to his probation violation case.
Prior to his release, the skateboarder was ordered to remain in custody until he underwent an addiction evaluation. While his wife showed up in the courtroom to support him, no members of his extended family were present.

His lawyer, Michael T. van der Veen, said he stayed on track for a year or more and passed all his drug tests. Additionally, Veen said, “His professional life is going well and we look forward to his release so that he can continue his growth.” »

Due to his profession, Margera’s legs became one of the most valuable parts of his body, but he almost lost them following his struggles with drug addiction.
The Blast reported that he told this story during an event for the video game “Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4,” where he reflected on a dark period in his life.
He said he felt lost and disconnected from skateboarding for about ten years, until he began to question what truly made him happy and skateboarding came to the top of the list.
“You know, in 2013 the doctor said they were dry rotted elastics from alcohol abuse, so I kind of lost hope. But now they’re back 100 percent. I’m skating again,” Margera said.

With the help of his wife, the stunt expert shared that he was able to regain his physical health and stick to skateboarding, unless a more serious injury prevented him from living his dream.
Inside Bam Margera and His Ex-Wife’s Child Support Settlement
Last December, just before Christmas, the stuntman and his ex-partner, Nikki Boyd, settled their child support drama.
Margera reportedly agreed to pay $2,500 a month in child support for their son, Phoenix. The payment was changed from Boyd’s original request after years of back-and-forth in court, and payment was scheduled to begin this year.
Boyd previously asked her ex to pay $15,000 a month in child support due to her unattractive financial situation, and Margera refused to take over when it came to paying for health insurance, education, housing and child care.

Boyd’s attorney claimed Margera had enough money in his treasury to support his child, and he continued to shirk his responsibilities, including visiting his son or attending a hearing regarding the case.
