Sophie Turner's new crime thriller debuts with a solid Rotten Tomatoes score

Sophie Turner’s new crime thriller series, Flydebuts with a solid Rotten Tomatoes score. The only “rotten” review so far, which comes from Richard Roeper of RogerEbert.comalso salutes Turner’s “outstanding” performance and for Zara being “an undeniably complex and empathetic character.” The problem is posed by the many genre tropes that are relied upon, “the collective lack of dark charisma within this heist team, “ and that if a season 2 arrives, “Give Zara a better adventure.”

Turner and Madekwe have previously spoken with ScreenRant about how the creative decision to have a large portion of the series take place after the heist comes about. Madekwe explained how Fly “It turns the formula upside down.” as Turner agreed that “It’s so refreshing to see the aftermath.”
