John Mellencamp Surprises Fans By Talking About Teddi’s Cancer During Recent Podcast
Teddi’s clarification comes just days after her father’s comments ignited a firestorm and made headlines.
On the ‘Joe Rogan Experience’ show, John told the controversial podcaster that Teddi’s cancer was “no fun” before saying she “has brain cancer and she’s in pain right now.”
The rock legend said Teddi was “really sick” and suggested she was facing an uphill battle.
When speaking with Judge, Teddi acknowledged that her father was probably very “concerned” about her well-being, noting that he called her “every day.”
“He wants to make sure, you know, that he does his best,” Teddi said. “But I mean, he’s not wrong. I definitely, I mean, I’ve suffered. I’ve cried a lot. I’ve been very emotional. I even had, like, a support group.”

Teddi Mellencamp starts ‘feeling better’ before one-year anniversary of cancer diagnosis
During another episode of her podcast, Teddi revealed that she was in “therapy” ahead of the one-year anniversary of her cancer diagnosis. She also shared that therapy helped her deal with her “massive PTSD.”
“[The PTSD was] about everything that happened,” she said. “I didn’t really realize it, so I’m starting to feel a little better. The cloud is dissipating.”
In an interview with Us Weekly, the Bravo veteran opened up about how difficult the battle with cancer has been for her and her family.
“I am fighting for my life, but also for that of my family and all the people I love,” she said. “[My kids] everyone knows I fight as hard as I can, but I didn’t say [‘moms always come back’ to them] because I don’t want to lie to them. And I don’t know.”

At another point in her video, Snooki became extremely emotional while revealing that she might have to have a hysterectomy, a surgical procedure that removes the uterus.
She later said that while she was saddened by the news, she wanted to prioritize spreading awareness to as many people as possible.
“I’m just making this video to raise awareness and make sure you get a Pap test. And if your doctor calls you to do it again, do it,” she said. “Make sure you’re okay and avoid any bad things that might happen, like cervical cancer.”
“Being a woman isn’t easy and it’s a really scary thing. I know everything will be okay,” she added. “It’s just scary.”
