Cardi B Slams Karmelo Anthony’s Murder Conviction, Calling It ‘Disgusting’

CardiB looks like she’s attacking the Texas jury that found Carmelo Anthony guilty of murder Austin Metcalf …saying what happened in the courtroom was downright disgusting.

The rap superstar took to social media Tuesday evening, hours after the verdict, expressing shock at the outcome and adding… “It’s not justice, it’s trying to make an example!!!”

Although Cardi B never mentioned Karmelo’s name… she did retweet other posts supporting the convicted teen.

As we reported…a jury declared Karmelo guilty of Austin’s murder during a high school track meet in 2025…and he was sentenced to 35 years in prison. He claimed self-defense, but the jurors didn’t believe it.

Karmelo reportedly became emotional after his sentencing … saying “I’m sorry” to his heartbroken parents before leaving the courtroom in handcuffs.

He was transported to the Collin County Jail where he posed for a new shot before being placed in isolation.
