Sydney Sweeney Climbs Hollywood Sign Wearing Bras in Legally Risky Move

Sydney Sweeney snuck to the top of a Los Angeles mountain a few days ago, climbed the iconic HOLLYWOOD sign and donned bras…and she may have gotten into trouble with the law.

TMZ obtained video of the “Christy” star climbing what appears to be the “H” with a handful of bras. A production crew films as Sydney moves through the darkness.

Sydney and her team walked to the top of the letters and hung out a clothesline full of bras. Sweeney is joyful as she examines her practical work.

As for why she did it… sources say it’s a video for promote the launch of her new lingerie line. As TMZ reported, Jeff Bezos is an investor, so he’s well funded, that’s for sure. It was the Bezos connection that landed him an invitation to the Bezos/Sanchez wedding last summer.

Now the problems. We learned that Sydney got a permit from FilmLA to film the Hollywood sign, but she didn’t have permission to touch or climb the sign itself…and, like bras, the permit came with conditions.

TMZ obtained an email from the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which owns the Hollywood sign. The House was clear…its production company was informed that it could not film the sign or use the video without obtaining prior approval from the House.

Sydney climbing the hill and the sign and then festooning it with bras could even put her in legal jeopardy for criminal trespass and/or vandalism.

The president of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce told TMZ… “No authorization has been granted to do this as is required.” We asked them if they would file a police report for trespassing and/or vandalism…we received no response.

The bras were removed after filming, but Sydney and co. 4 or 5 left. Hey, it’s better than an Easter egg hunt!
