Aloe Blacc says Kanye West deserves love and forgiveness like everyone else

Aloe Blacc is “The Man” when it comes to love and understanding…at least according to a conversation we just had with him about YOU — formerly known as Kanye West – and his controversial apology letter.

Blacc was all bundled up when we caught him in New York on Wednesday…but despite the freezing weather, the singer-songwriter had a warm response to Ye’s latest apology.

Blacc said, “I think anytime someone can show unconditional love and growth, it’s a good time.”

Of course, some have noted You have an album coming, which might make the apology suspect. The thinking is that the Wall Street Journal ad he took out Monday, addressed to “Those I Hurt,” might simply be a strategic ploy to draw attention to the upcoming project.

Still, Blacc told us he supports “unconditional love for everyone at all times, no matter who and no matter the transgressions.” Forgiveness is priority number one.”

As Blacc says… “We are all children of God. We must forgive and love everyone all the time, no matter what.”

For his part… Ye insisted that his remorse over his anti-Semitic and alarming behavior was genuine, and that it was not a slick PR move to save his music career.

You told Vanity Fair he apologized because his behavior “went too far” and weighed heavily on his heart.

Let’s hope he really means it…but ultimately, only time will tell!
