The widow of Malcolm-Jamal Warner Blame the late actor’s accountant For losing a $2 million check

Malcolm Jamal-Warnerthe widow, Tenisha Warneris suing the late actor’s business manager and financial advisor… TMZ has learned.
Tenisha filed a lawsuit against a man she says worked for Malcolm from 1996 to 2023 as a business manager and financial advisor…in front of the actor deceased last year, at the age of 54.
The suit says Malcolm’s team helped Malcolm with his insurance needs and estate planning, which initially left the majority of his estate to his mother, Pamela Warner.
Malcolm and Tenisha had a child in 2017 and married a few years later. Tenisha said Malcolm asked the advisor to change his estate plans to provide for Tenisha and the child and claim documents were even drafted to implement the changes…but she claims they were never finalized before his death.
Tenisha said Malcolm had also wanted the advisor to help her get a $2 million life insurance policy for her and their daughter, but she said the advisor never came full circle either. She is now suing the adviser for professional negligence and seeking unspecified damages.
As TMZ previously reported, Tenisha is already struggle Malcolm’s mother in court over the trust, which she says left her daughter out and prevented her from collecting money from her father’s estate.
