Lamar Odom get professional help — TMZ Sports The NBA champion is said to have entered rehab after his recent arrest for drunk driving.
Odom enrolled in a 30-day treatment program at iRely Recovery establishment in Los Angeles… after his confrontation with the police triggered certain triggers from his past that he wanted to address.

Although he previously stated that alcohol and drugs did NOT play a role in his arrestOdom isn’t taking any chances… which makes sense after what he experienced in 2015, when he almost died of an overdose.

LO hasn’t received treatment in years, but we’re told the champ is optimistic about his return…and the goal is to be “clean and clear” again.
As we previously reported, cops said Odom’s car it stank of weed after being stopped for speeding. Police said he later admitted to smoking earlier in the day.

During the arraignment, Odom even referenced the night he almost died… saying that while he never suffered a head injury, he suffered “12 strokes and six heart attacks and was poisoned in a brothel in Pahrump.”
He was eventually arrested and jailed on three charges: driving while intoxicated, driving more than 41 mph over the limit and improper lane changing.
