If you’re missing out on a lot of mobile data with your current phone plan, but don’t want to shell out more money for a bigger data plan, then this deal from Tangerine Mobile might be what you’ve been looking for.
For a limited time, Tangerine is reducing the price of its SIM-only 5G plans by 50% for the first four months, starting at AU$15 per month for its basic 30GB plan. The plan will then return to $30 from the fifth month.
This deal above also beats our pick for the cheapest 365-day plan on the Telstra network, which comes from Boost Mobile. Boost’s deal is 240GB for AU$300, while Tangerine’s aforementioned plan, extrapolated over a full year, provides 540GB of mobile data for the same amount. This equates to on average AU$25 for 45 GB per month.
Tangerine Mobile SIM plans also include a 1000GB data bank, allowing you to reserve any unused monthly data for future use.
If you really want to increase your data usage and easily fill that databank, the best Tangerine SIM-only plan will net you a whopping 320GB of mobile data for the first 6 months for AU$30 per month (then AU$60 after four months, which is still a lot of data for that price!).
You won’t get this deal directly from Telstra, so if coverage is important to you then this deal is hard to pass up.
