Rob Gronkowski explains why ‘single’ Tom Brady is way more fun than when he was ‘married’
Gronk appeared on “Today” on Thursday, Jan. 29, and said that “single Tom Brady” is “definitely” more fun than “married” Brady.
Gronk shared that while he has more fun with the unique version of Brady, the couple has encountered a role reversal these days.
“…we flipped the script,” Gronk said. “I was single when I came into the league and Tom was married.”
Gronk explained that when he entered the league in 2010, he thought Brady was a little “lame” because he rarely came out.
However, things have turned around. “Wow. Now he goes out every weekend and I’m at home with my girlfriend,” he said.

Tom Brady was with his ex-wife for years before divorce in 2022

Brady married model Gisele Bündchen in 2009 after first meeting on a blind date in 2006. Later that year, the couple announced they were expecting their first child together, according to PEOPLE.
At the time, Brady said the supermodel would be a “great mother,” adding that she was “ecstatic” about their new chapter.
Brady and Bündchen welcomed their second child in 2012 and eventually faced rumors about their relationship in the years that followed. In 2015, however, Brady said he and Bündchen were in “a great place.”
Brady started singing a different tune years later, confirming that he hadn’t lived up to his wife’s expectations.

“A few years ago, she didn’t feel like I was doing my part for the family. She felt like I would play soccer all season and she would take care of the house, and then all of a sudden, at the end of the season, I was like, ‘Great, let me focus on all my other work activities.’ Let me practice soccer,” and she’s sitting there going, “Well, when are you going to do things for the house? When are you going to take the kids to school and do this?’” Brady said on an episode of “Howard Stern,” according to PEOPLE.
The couple divorced in 2022.

While it’s unclear if the two will become an official couple, Brady hinted that his schedule is a little too chaotic for new relationships at the moment, according to The Blast. “You know what? I don’t have a lot of time for my personal life or a lot of time for myself, but I love working and I love my kids,” Brady said.
“I like to be busy and try to thrive in what I do, so I work on some really cool projects and I’m involved in some great teams of people doing really positive things,” he added.
Gronk has already spoken about his teammates

This isn’t the first time Gronk has spoken out about his former teammates, according to The Blast.
During an appearance on the “Bussin’ With The Boys” podcast, Gronk spoke about his dynamic with Aaron Hernandez, the former New England Patriots star who later committed suicide.
“We were the best combination ever in a tight end position,” he said. “And that sophomore year proves it. I mean, we had like what: 2,300 combined yards and like [24] touchdowns between him and I, including the playoffs and regular season. This is unheard of. »

Gronk hints at Hernandez’s bizarre behavior

Elsewhere in the episode, Gronk addressed a long-standing rumor that Hernandez ingratiated himself during team meetings.
“That’s a possibility,” Gronk said. “I may or may not have seen it live. I’m not going to confirm or deny.”
He continued: “I mean, I like crazy s***, so I didn’t mind stuff like that. I was like, ‘Wow, that was pretty epic.’ I was a wild man myself, so nothing bothered me.
