Jane Fonda Defends Don Lemon After Feds Arrest

Jane Fonda says the feds took out the bad Don…screaming AssetThe administrator for having stopped Don Lemon in place of Commander-in-Chief.

The legendary actress passionately defended the former CNN anchor outside the federal courthouse where Lemon had a hearing following his arrest for allegedly interrupting a church service…and she told the gathered protesters not to fall for the government’s traps.

Fonda says Don was just a journalist doing his job…no more, no less – and certainly no reason for the feds to do this. lock him up.

JF encourages people to continue using their voices to protest the federal government’s treatment of Lemon…and she promises she won’t stop speaking out for journalists like Lemon.

Fonda ends her comments by saying, “They arrested the wrong Don!” …clearly calling for a world in which POTUS would be locked into the former news anchor’s place.

The feds disagree with Fonda… writing in Lemon’s indictment that he was not just a journalist — he was also at the church in St. Paul, Minnesota, as a protester.

The feds allege Lemon conspired with protesters to “injure, oppress, threaten and intimidate” clergy, staff and congregants at Cities Church. They claim he did not leave the church when asked and that he deliberately withheld information about the church’s location in collusion with protesters.

Lemon was charged with one count of conspiracy against the right to religious freedom in a place of worship and one count of injury, intimidation and obstruction of the right to religious freedom in a place of worship.

It’s a hot-button issue, leading to protesters shouting at Fonda outside the courthouse… claiming Lemon was part of a group that was terrorizing children.

This case certainly divides the nation… stay tuned.
