Elizabeth Warren doesn’t need to track her step count or run a stopwatch on her 40-yard dash to know she’s the fastest senator…and she may very well be right, because our photographer had a hard time keeping up with her.
We had the Democratic senator from Massachusetts in the underground tunnel system under the Capitol and she made sure our cameraman Charlie Cotton work hard to move forward step by step.
Liz was on her way to the Senate for a speech on defunding ICE when we chatted with her about a ton of topics…including shoes.
The senator says she doesn’t wear heels because she walks around all day…and jokes that she wears a good pair of sneakers to stay “in fighting shape.”
Liz also reveals the secret to her brisk walking and explains why her dog and husband keep her going in an unforgiving city.
Charlie is used to walking and chatting with celebrities at LAX, but Liz is giving him a hard time here…literally.
