Ricky Martin reportedly hasn’t had any major facial surgery

Ricky Martin turned heads during his surprise Super Bowl halftime appearance, with many fans and commenters commenting that he looked surprisingly young for his age.

Although the singer is yet to admit if he recently underwent facial surgery.

Dr. Sean McNally, a board-certified plastic surgeon in Portland, Oregon, believes Martin has had some work done, but it’s probably not anything major.

Talk with the Daily Mail, the medical expert ruled out surgical interventions involving lifting of part of the face, as well as blepharoplasty. The latter is a surgical procedure that involves the doctor incising the eyelid creases to cut loose skin and muscles and remove excess fat.

Regarding facial work Martin might have done, McNally suggested the singer could have used fillers or fat grafting to achieve better shape and volume in the mid-face.

Both procedures are known to be minimally invasive and are commonly used to add volume, change facial contours, and fill in wrinkled areas.

The expert also noted that the Livin’ La Vida Loca artist displayed significantly improved “skin tone and texture.”

He added that this enhancement can also be the result of filler, especially in the midface or jawline.

McNally went on to note that a solid skin care regimen likely also played a role, as well as the possible use of laser treatments to help prevent hyperpigmentation.

“The most likely culprits would be a skincare regimen using hydroquinone and lighter resurfacing lasers like Moxi or Erbium, as these are more suitable for difficult and reactive skin types,” he continued.
