Carlos told reporters he noticed law enforcement following his vehicle Tuesday evening as he drove on a Rio Rico road near his home, stopping of his own accord.
The delivery driver – who works for Door Dash and GLS – claims authorities quickly arrested him and questioned him for hours about his whereabouts recently. But Carlos insists he is completely innocent and had nothing to do with Guthrie’s kidnapping, saying he feels like he was kidnapped himself.

He also criticized police for breaking down his front door and damaging the garage door of his home during a raid earlier in the day. Ultimately…Carlos wants to clear his name.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department confirmed it conducted a court-authorized search of Carlos’ home, about 15 miles from the Port of Nogales, a major border crossing between the United States and Mexico.
Earlier Tuesday, the FBI released images and video of Nancy’s alleged kidnapper… showing the masked intruder outside her front door on a NEST camera.
As you know, Nancy was reported missing on February 1st…a few hours after her family dropped her off at home after dinner. She is 84 years old, in poor health and requires daily medication. This is why law enforcement is frantically searching for her.
