Kandi Burrus criticized her future ex-husband, Todd Tuckerin new court filings, in which she accused the TV personality of failing to provide essential support to their two minor children, Ace and Blaze.

Kandi Burruss hits back at Todd Tucker with new court documents

According to a new report from TMZ, Burruss has unloaded on Tucker in new court documents, blaming the 52-year-old for allegedly staying at his guest house without contributing financially to the property.
The new legal filing says Tucker failed to pay “a single expense for the upkeep and maintenance of the home, including utilities, gas, lawn care, water, pest control, or even fees associated with the alarm system.”
For those who may not be familiar with him, Burruss announced his plans to split from Tucker in November 2025. His shocking announcement came right after his appearance at BravoCon in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In her statement, reported by The Blast, Burruss admitted that she came to this conclusion after a lot of “thought and a lot of prayer.”

Burruss also admitted that part of the reason for her divorce was her two children and the goals she had set for herself. “I am entering a new chapter regarding my work, my family and my own growth. I am grateful to everyone who has supported us over the years and I ask for privacy, grace and understanding as we navigate this transition with our family,” she said.

Elsewhere in the recent filing, Burruss, who first rose to prominence as a member of the girl group Xscape, said Tucker also provided no support to their children at the Georgia residence.
The documents indicate that Burruss, currently starring on Broadway in “& Juliet,” remained Ace and Blaze’s sole provider despite her busy schedule.
Burruss’ legal documents reveal that she, along with hired nannies, do most of the work for their children, despite Tucker’s social media campaigns about his fatherhood journey.
In a social media post reported by The Blast, Tucker shared an image of himself, his children and Burruss celebrating the New Year. “Here’s my first PLAN of 2026! Create and enjoy family time. The Tuckers,” he captioned the image.

Kandi Burruss accuses Tucker of not contributing financially to her children’s birthdays
In another section of her filing, Burruss detailed the financial burden of caring for two children alone, saying Tucker refuses to contribute to the cost of their children’s birthday parties, tuition, fees or school supplies. But that’s not all. Burruss also claimed that Tucker failed to provide any child support.
While the reality star will remain in New York to work until March 2026, she indicated in legal documents that she travels back and forth between New York and Atlanta to see her children.
The filing requests that the judge require Tucker to pay child support and share Ace and Blaze’s expenses. Additionally, the “No Scrubs” author asked the judge to create a schedule regarding parenting time.

Things are complicated for Burruss and Tucker
Although things remain difficult for Burruss and Tucker, the mother of three expressed a desire to navigate her divorce with grace.
Responding to a fan who asked if she and Tucker could become friends after their divorce, Burruss replied, “I hope so.”
“I hope we become friends,” she added. “That would be my goal.”
However, Burruss acknowledged that the divorce proceedings caused her to see Tucker in a different light. “But you know, when you go through a divorce, people get on your nerves and you really start to look at them differently,” she explained.
Burruss and Tucker focus on co-parenting as best they can
During a live appearance on the Today show, covered by The Blast, Burruss also opened up about how she and Tucker are working to keep things as normal as possible for her family.
“We have determined that no matter what happens, we will always be excellent co-parents to our children,” she said. “So that means that, you know, we sometimes go on vacations together because we’re still a family, even though he and I decided to separate. And we try to make it as easy as possible for our kids.”
