When it was Wendy’s turn to speak about her legal battle at the meeting, she gave a detailed account of what allegedly happened the day she and her husband realized their home had been burglarized. However, Huger didn’t think Wendy’s explanation was necessary.

“I just told you to shut up,” Huger said. “I took it out of context because I didn’t want you to do what you just did. I wouldn’t have said anything back on that stage today.”

Huger then encouraged Wendy to be careful about what she shares with the media, saying the federal government would monitor for inaccuracies.

“You talk too much, Wendy. I’m begging you to stop talking. I don’t want you to go to jail,” Huger told Wendy, adding that answering questions about the case wasn’t helping him.

“Believe the Karens that you loved before, what do you think? Because when you speak, they look, okay? They hear you. And so, I would have said, ‘Respectfully, Andy, I can’t answer those questions right now,'” she added.

Wendy, however, stood by her stance and defended her decision to speak candidly about her ongoing legal issues. “Before I came here, my legal advisor was informed that I would be here,” she said. “And they are very aware of the line of questioning. What I have disclosed right now is already public.”

Huger says she ‘prays’ Wendy tells the truth about her legal matter on ‘RHOP’ reunion

According to a previous report from The Blast, Wendy and her husband, Eddie, were charged with various counts of fraud after authorities claimed they staged a burglary and even received a fraudulent payment of nearly $30,000 from an insurance company.

In court, prosecutors claimed the reality TV couple had “a pattern of excessive spending” and were “heavily in debt.”

At the meeting, Huger said she was “praying” that Wendy would tell the truth about what happened at her home. “…because they can twist it and it won’t go in your favor. And you have to think about the children. That’s all I’m saying,” she said.

Wendy defended herself, however, revealing that she hadn’t divulged any “intimate details” that hadn’t already been shared with the public. “And so, I know what you’re saying, but again, I know when to put a kibosh on it. But I hear you and I get it,” Wendy finished.

As Huger wrapped up her time on the “RHOP” reunion, she spoke with Andy Cohen and Wendy about how the latter would fare if convicted of the alleged crimes and sentenced to prison.

“Well, first of all, we are phenomenal black women. My prayers are with you and your family,” Huger said. “There are always adversities in life. I know you will rise again. And I pray you never know what it is like to have your freedoms taken away.”

Huger told Wendy that there was “another side” and that her current struggles would “not break you.”

“And if you get real with yourself, you’ll be a better version of yourself. And I wish you the absolute best,” she added.
